To download an Absentee Ballot Application, go to the website . Absentee ballots are being sent out to voters daily. A voter may also come into the Board of Elections to apply for, and pick-up, an absentee ballot.
Board of Elections Hours:
The BOE will be open regular hours, 8 a.m. -4 p.m. on weekdays, plus extended hours on Thursday, October 21 and October 28, when they will be open until 7 p.m. The BOE will also be open Saturday mornings October 23 and October 30 from 9 a.m. – Noon
Deadline for postmarking Absentee Ballot applications is October 26. For any voter who misses that deadline, OTC (Over the Counter) voting at the Board of Elections is the most efficient alternative. If a voter is unable to come to our office to vote, he or she may ask another party to bring in his/her signed, original Absentee Application containing the request for the General Election ballot to be carried by a designated person in the “where to send ballot” field.
Sample ballots are available via the County Website . The Board of elections is located at 401 State Street in Hudson; phone number is (518) 828-3115.
