Residents of the twin counties who struggle to get high-speed Internet may soon be getting help.
U.S. Rep. Scott Murphy, D-Glens Falls, has announced Mid-Hudson Cable will be granted $3.5 million from the U.S. Department of Agriculture to improve rural broadband access in Columbia and Greene counties.
“This is great news for the Hudson Valley,” Murphy said Wednesday. “Expanding rural broadband in our upstate communities is key to building businesses and creating jobs.”
