LaGrange resident Marco Caviglia said he wanted to fill the seat vacated July 30 by Dutchess County Court Judge Thomas J. Dolan, who retired.

“My candidacy offers the voters a balance between public sector work and private sector, a balance between prosecution and defense, a balance between business experience and legal expertise,” he said in a prepared statement.
